Allied Health Professions

Have pre-health questions? Email hpa@rice.edu!

To have a rewarding career in health care, you do not have to be a doctor. Allied health professions play a vital role in health care, and many programs have similar pre-requisite requirements to medical or dental school. Explore all of the allied health professions to get a better idea of what career opportunities exist within them by exploring accredited programs and the professional organization associated with each. And remember, the OAA can still advise for allied health professional programs too!

Please note: Rice does not offer professional allied health programs or internship opportunities.
