Hello, my name is Sherrigo, and I am excited to join the Rice family! I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and I have been in Houston for years. I have received my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown and my MS in Higher Education Administration from National University, in LaJolla, California. I love higher education, and have served for over 16 years in various positions such as Advising, Admissions, Financial Aid, Transfer Articulation, Operations, in public and private sectors. I began my higher education career journey at the University of New Orleans as a student assistant where I assisted with Orientation. This experience set the tone for me. I am passionate about serving students in different capacities. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, eating diverse cuisines, shopping, traveling and enjoying "me time". I look forward to working with you to make your college journey as seamless as possible!
