Hello, my name is Joel Pearson, and I am thrilled to join the Rice family.  I’m originally from Wichita, KS, but also grew up in Topeka, KS, Seattle, WA, Louisville, KY and Lawrence, KS. I have a BS in Social Sciences (History, Sociology and Psychology) and an MS in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University. With 17 years of experience in academic advising and student success, I have dedicated my career to supporting students. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, watching my son play soccer, cooking, eating, pastoring, farming, and traveling. Looking forward to meeting you!
